Series Premise: Yondemasu-yo, Azazel-san or “You Are Being Summoned, Azazel” is a weekly anime television series that started in April 2011, based on a comedy manga by Yasuhisa Kubo. Rinko is the young assistant to a detective that can summon demons, who unknowingly finds herself bound in a contract with the minor demon Azazel.

ep. tl;dr review: Akutabe shows once again why he’s the Alpha Male as everyone else gets pwned.
Episode Summary: The angel Sariel walks the Earth in search of demonic influence, and gets wind of Rinko and Azazel-san. Rinko is tasked with helping a client find out who stole their ideas, but with the use of Beelzebub ends up causing more trouble without solving the case. Akutabe lends her Moloch, causing Azazel and Beelzebub to practically shit their britches in fear. Rinko meets up with the client, but turns out he leaked the info himself while drunk.
My Impressions: Turns out Rinko is getting more competent and more confident with her ability to control Azazel and Beelzebub. Gotta be careful, though, because overconfidence can lead to disaster (as her, um, transformation in the original video animation pointed out). And now that we have Moloch to deal with, it could get…interesting.
And now we have Mr. Ballsforchin enter the picture. Um, is he really an angel, or just some deluded douchebag? Just another fun episode of Yondemasu-yo, Azazel-san. And once again, not much for me to think about to say. Oh well.

Sampling of Online Reviews:
- “Episode 05 of Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san was one of the funniest episodes so far. Azazel’s snide remarks were the high point for me. He’s like Kon from Bleach turned up to 666. Beelzebub and Akutabe didn’t have a whole lot to do in this Rinko-centric episode but seeing the sweet looking assistant’s continuing transformation into demon powered bitch more than made up for her bosses lack of screen time.” – Moe Monster
- “This fifth episode however showed that Azazel-San has enough material to remain hilarious. On top of taking comedic facial distortions to another level, it also has a lot of fun messing with demon summonings and uninspired episodic stories by subverting the hell out of them. The comedic timing in this episode in particular was excellent, but the jokes were also quite creative. I love how the ultimate weapon that any demon can have is simply violence.” – Star Crossed Anime Blog
